Is your Bosch dishwasher needing repair? Does it not drain completely? Does it stink? These are common problems with Bosch dishwashers. Here is the solution to these problems.
Bosch Dishwasher Not Draining
If the Dishwasher isn’t draining the first thing to check is the Food Filter. Lift the Food Filter out of the bottom of the dishwasher and clean it with a toothbrush. If was full of debris then this was the most likely cause of it not draining completely.
If the food filter was clean then remove the impeller cover by using a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Is the impeller clogged or dirty? If so, clean it. This could be the source of the problem.
If none of the above was the problem, then the drain hose mounted to the side of the dishwasher may have an obstacle in it. To access this you will need to remove the dishwasher from beneath the counter. Pour water into the dishwasher’s basin. Disconnect the drain line on the side of the dishwasher, and engage the pump by pressing up on the actuator lever. Water will rush out of the hose along with any obstructions impeding the flow from the pump.
